Fresh Red BC Broken Sea Urchin trays are perfect for sashimi or making sea urchin sushi. Our uni trays are filled with hand-picked roes, giving you maximum convenience with no shucking required. Red sea urchins have large firm roes with rich, bold flavors that uni fans covet over. They have a creamy, sweet and briny taste you will love! We source sea urchins from our own uni divers to ensure top quality.
Cooking tips:
Eat it as is, on a bed of short-grain rice or wrap it with nori. You can also use it to make uni sushi (gunhammaki). Pair it with our shoyu or shio ikura for an extra depth of flavor.
Uni roes are shucked by hand and may contain traces of small spines and shells on rare occasions. All our products are sustainable and traceable. Your order will be packed by one of our seafood experts while wearing gloves and masks for your maximum protection. Caution: Although great care is taken when preparing this item, uni roe may contain urchin shell or spines.
